Cathie Wood raised ARK Invest’s long-term Bitcoin outlook, saying the cryptocurrency could reach a base case of $750,000 and a bull case of $1.25 million as institutional buying and broader adoption continue.
ARK also said Bitcoin’s market value could rise from about $2 trillion now to nearly $16 trillion, assuming an annual compound growth rate near 63%. The call comes as Bitcoin has been volatile in 2026, with recent trading showing weaker recovery momentum and mixed investor appetite.
Wood said Bitcoin could continue taking share from gold over time, especially as younger investors inherit wealth and as buyers in inflation-prone economies look for alternatives to cash. That view remains tied to spot ETF demand and corporate treasury adoption, two themes that have helped shape the crypto market over the past year.
Still, recent ETF flows have been uneven, and that suggests the next leg higher may depend on whether institutional demand stays firm.
