As Bitcoin (BTC) has been crashing over the last few months, several cryptocurrency companies have been selling their BTC holdings.
Bitdeer Technologies Group (Nasdaq: BTDR), one of the largest Bitcoin mining companies, has fully liquidated its corporate BTC holdings in February.

MARA Holdings (Nasdaq: MARA), another major miner, sold 15,133 Bitcoin for approximately $1.1 billion in March. Another miner, Cango Inc. (NYSE: CANG), sold 2,000 Bitcoin in March.
Even Strategy (Nasdaq: MSTR), the largest Bitcoin treasury company, has sold Bitcoin twice this year for the first time after 2022:
Now, another major crypto company has decided to sell its Bitcoin stash.

Satsuma Technology shareholders approve Bitcoin holdings
More than 90% of shareholders of Satsuma Technology (LSE: SATS.L), a U.K.-based Bitcoin treasury company, have voted to liquidate its entire Bitcoin holdings and cancel its London Stock Exchange listing, per a July 20 filing.
The company will sell 668 Bitcoin worth approximately $43.5 million.
While Bitcoin’s price surpassed the all-time high (ATH) of $126,000 in early October last year, it crashed in the coming months and the company was forced to sell 579 Bitcoin in December to ensure it had sufficient cash to repay noteholders who chose not to convert their debt into shares by year-end.
In the early months of 2026, Satsuma Technology’s CFO and CEO left.
As the company’s stock declined 97% in value in a year, its shareholders have voted to liquidate its Bitcoin holdings and delist. Cash assets worth £26.8 million-£30 million will be returned to shareholders as per the process.
