Free investing class by United Way starts Feb. 24

United Way of the Yampa Valley is hosting a complimentary, three-part, free investing class starting Feb. 24 in Steamboat Springs.

The course will teach participants how to live a life of financial security by learning investing basics. The instructor is Eileen Allen, a retired certified financial planner who worked in the financial services business for 25 years.

The classes are set for 6-7:30 p.m. Feb. 24, March 3 and March 10 at Colorado Mountain College, room AB217. Free dinner in the CMC cafeteria will be available at 5:15 p.m. on Feb. 24 and March 3. Advance registration is requested at UnitedWayoftheYampaValley.org/events.
