Portage County real estate: What half a million dollars gets you, Sept. 23

Below, we provide an overview of the top five properties in each area, chosen for their proximity to the desired price range and the largest living spaces.

Please note that the properties in the list below are for real estate sales where the title was recorded during the week of Sep. 23, even if the property may have been sold earlier.

1. $470K, 3 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms

Priced at $470,000 (equivalent to $323 per square foot), this detached house, constructed in 1987 and situated at 2726 E. Pioneer Trail, was sold in September. The home spans 1,456 square feet of living area, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The property comprises a 1.2-acre lot. The deal was finalized on Sept. 20.

2. $460K, 3 bedrooms / 3 baths

In September, a single-family house, with three bedrooms and three baths, located at 1451 Page Road, changed ownership. The property, covering 2,848 square feet, was built in 1990 and was sold for $460,000, which calculates to $162 per square foot. The lot size encompasses 1.8-acre. The deal was finalized on Sept. 20.

3. $460K, 3 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms

The single-family house located at 1667 Stepping Stone Trail offered an option at $459,900, (which equates to $214 per square foot). This property features 2,147 square feet of living area, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms and was built in 2005. The lot spans over 1.9-acre. The deal was finalized on Sept. 18.

This single-family home, featuring four bedrooms and three baths, underwent a change of ownership in September. Located at 1239 Congress Lake Road, the home spans 1,862 square feet and was sold for $417,000, or $224 per square foot. The property sits on a lot measuring 1.5-acre, and it was built in 1994. The deal was finalized on Sept. 17.

5. $411K, 3 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms

Situated at 865 Dipper Lane, this single-family residence, consisting of three bedrooms and three bathrooms, was sold in September for a price of $411,000, translating to $195 per square foot. The property, constructed in 2021, offers a living area of 2,112 square feet and sits on a 3,703-square-foot lot. The deal was finalized on Sept. 16.
