Slinger, WI – The new Jug’s Pub & Grill, 1021 E. Commerce Blvd, in Slinger, WI, is expected to open in the coming weeks. Owner Jason Jug was kind enough to take us for a look inside at the updated bar, dining area, and kitchen.
The new Jug’s Pub & Grill will feature 12 beers on tap, 170 seats, 17 TVs in the bar and restaurant, a new bottom-up beer filling machine, a large dining area and a rocking menu.
“We’ll have three to four bartenders at all times with higher end bourbons and ice cream drinks,” said Jug.

The ambiance has a sports-bar feel with some rustic flair in the pallet ceiling, wagon wheel lights, and big screen TVs at every turn.
The restaurant is separate from the bowling alley and The Kettle Recreation Center.

“The menu will feature sandwiches, dinner entrees, and the Jug’s fish fry,” said Jug. “The menu will be different than Kohlsville. We’ll have the same quality but there will be a filet, ribs, pizza, soups, gluten-free options, and some really good salads.”
Below is an article published earlier in the week featuring a first look inside The Kettle Recreation Center.
Slinger, WI – The finishing touches are being put in place at The Kettle Recreation Center and Jug’s Pub & Grill in Slinger, WI. General manager Dawn Jug offered a first look at the high-tech bowling along with the food menu.
The Kettle has 12 lanes, same as the previous setup, however the new high-end electronic version features amazing graphics, lots of choices and games to add more excitement to the experience.

Quick note, the wolf howling in the video is from one of the many interactive games for kids.
Owner Steve Kearns said the number one question is when are they opening?
Kearns still needs the Village to sign off on the occupancy permit and barring any final inspection hiccups, they should be ready to go.

Tomorrow, a look inside the new Jugs Pub & Grill.
Slinger, Wi – What better way to test the new facilities at The Kettle Recreation Center and Jugs Pub & Grill in Slinger, Wi, than host your grandchild’s birthday party. Business owners Steve Kearns and Jason Jug tested out the new bowling equipment and the kitchen as family and friends gathered for a private event.
The most noticeable change at the bowling alley is the LED backscreen which is 7-and-a-half feet high and 65-feet long. The digital display offers a huge variety of games, different atmospheres and even business promotions and advertising.

The light shows range from an underwater scene, to fire, to cartoon balloons, or messages.

This isn’t your grandmother’s bowling alley… it’s electric and fast paced and according to the kids on hand Saturday, “it’s sooooooo much fun!”
The high-energy setting isn’t the only new…
