Can you share some standout achievements or milestones from the past decade?

“A couple of years ago, I celebrated my 20th year in the financial services industry and 20th year at UBS. UBS is the first and only financial services firm I’ve been with. Our team recently surpassed $1.6 billion in client assets under management.

Are there any recent wins or developments you’re particularly excited about?

“About two years ago, I formed a larger team with three other UBS Atlanta financial advisors. Our team, Paragon Wealth Management, comprises five financial advisors and five support staff. Our five financial advisors have a combined 150+ years of experience in the business, an average of 30 years per advisor, and we average 20 years at UBS.

“ALTHOUGH FINANCIAL MARKETS CONSTANTLY CHANGE, MY APPROACH TO WEALTH MANAGEMENT HAS BEEN CONSISTENT.” —CROMWELL BAUN

How has your philosophy or approach evolved over the past decade, and what personal or professional growth have you experienced?

“Although financial markets constantly change, my approach to wealth management has been consistent. Having a game plan with room for flexibility when markets change, or life events occur, eliminating emotion in the investment decision-making process, exercising discipline, and being patient have been fundamental principles I’ve followed throughout my career. Investing in yourself through continuing professional development and education has been important. If you’re standing still, you’re actually moving backward. Over the past decade, there has been a global pandemic, changes to tax laws, evolving financial instruments and technology, and elevated market volatility, all of which have impacted how I work with my clients. Continuous learning and sharpening skill sets put me in a better position to serve my clients. I use all skills to lead my team and serve my clients.”
