BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Sentient Jet, the pioneer of the jet-card category and private aviation leader, today announced it is now providing the ability to leverage cryptocurrency payments through BitPay, the world’s largest blockchain payment processor. Card Owners and new members will now have an additional option to complete payments using select cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC) Ethereum (ETH) and leading U.S. dollar-backed stablecoins from Circle (USDC) and PayPal (PYUSD), providing an alternative to traditional payment methods. All cryptocurrency payments will be processed through BitPay and settled in U.S. dollars, allowing Sentient Jet to offer this payment method to members without holding digital assets directly.
The partnership marks the latest step in Sentient Jet’s commitment to making air travel more seamless – building on the company’s legacy as the inventor of the Jet Card, the first to introduce automated text-to-book technology, and a leader in sustainability across private aviation.
