Inspire Investing told clients it would apply biblical values to its investing strategy. Regulators say it fell short of its stated virtues.

The Idaho-based registered investment advisor has agreed to pay $300,000 to resolve allegations that it didn’t consistently adhere to the “biblically responsible investing” strategy it promoted to its clients.
