County National Bank announces several promotions, new hires

HILLSDALE — Several team members at County National Bank branches and offices have been the recipients of recent promotions throughout the summer months.

Since 1934, County National Bank has been providing personal and business banking products and services, and wealth management services to communities located throughout southern Michigan, including Hillsdale and Lenawee counties. CNB also operates in Jackson, Calhoun and Kalamazoo counties.

Here’s some details and information about those promotions:

Five promotions announced by President and CEO Joe Williams

Ida Barnett, Jake Johnson, Jacob Parker, Joyce Repasy and Stephanie Thomas were among the first group of employees to be promoted this summer.

Ida Barnett, who joined County National Bank in 1998 and has 35 years' experience in financial services, has been promoted to assistant vice president: electronic banking officer.

Barnett, who joined CNB in 1998 and has 35 years’ experience in financial services, has been promoted to assistant vice president: electronic banking officer. She is an Accredited ACH Professional (AAP), and her current focus is on electronic banking-related project management. Barnett’s skillset includes electronic banking, data processing, customer service, ACH origination, and receipt and wire processing.

Jake Johnson joined County National Bank in 2022 and is a graduate of Baker College and Spring Arbor University. He has been promoted to assistant vice president: private baking officer.

Johnson joined CNB in 2022 and is a graduate of Baker College and Spring Arbor University. He has been promoted to assistant vice president: private baking officer. Johnson has 11 years of experience in the financial services industry, focusing on relationship banking and advising clients on complex financial matters.

Jake Parker has been promoted to assistant vice president: credit officer after joining County National Bank in 2019 and having five years' experience in banking.

Parker has been promoted to assistant vice president: credit officer after joining CNB in 2019 and having five years’ experience in banking. He is a graduate of Trine University and the MBA Commercial Lending School. Parker’s area of expertise is credit analysis, and he is an integral support for the Commercial Lending Team in all markets served by CNB.

Joyce Repasy has been with County National Bank for more than 22 years and has 30 years' experience in the banking industry. She has been promoted to vice president: loan administration officer.

Stephanie Thomas has several years of banking experience, logging 25 years in the industry and joining County National Bank in 2000. She was promoted to vice president: loan operations officer.

Thomas has a Business Management degree and is a graduate of the Michigan Bankers Association’s (MBA) Perry Schools of Banking and the American Bankers Association’s National Compliance Lending School.

Teffany Dickey hired as AVP: retail lending officer

With a bachelor’s degree in comprehensive education and childhood development from Siena Heights University, Teffany Dickey comes to County National Bank with four years of experience in mortgage and retail loan origination, and underwriting.

This summer, she was hired as assistant vice president: retail lending officer. Prior to joining the banking industry, Dickey was an elementary teacher.
