Melissa Baal Guidorizzi has joined Davis Wright Tremaine as a financial services partner in the firm’s Washington office, the firm said Monday.
Guidorizzi has extensive experience both in-house and in private practice, and advises clients on compliance, regulatory investigations, and enforcement actions and litigation, according to the firm.
Guidorizzi, a former senior counsel at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, also spent eight years as an associate general counsel at Citi, providing compliance counseling for all of Citi’s consumer financial products, the firm said.
She joins from Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe.
