The campaign is aiming to raise funds for B4TECH, a digital tech firm developing apps to provide consumer support for household appliances and tools to create new shopping experiences

() has noted that its investee company, ForCrowd successfully launched its first equity crowdfunding campaign on May 19 despite disruption from the coronavirus pandemic.

The crowdfunding campaign is for B4TECH, a digital tech firm that has developed two application platforms; B-SMART 4.0, which provides installation, technical support and maintenance of household appliances and equipment to save consumers money, and CONCEPT STORE 4.0, a set of tools designed to help create new shopping experiences based on the merger of physical and digital shopping.

The minimum target for the fundraising is €250,000, with a maximum target of €500,000.

“I am extremely pleased for the first equity crowdfunding campaign to have been launched, despite all the difficulties caused by [coronavirus]. The high digital technology standards of this innovative startup should attract, we believe, sufficient investors to meet the equity crowdfunding minimal target. Several other startups, currently under evaluation, have been lined-up to launch their campaigns on ForCrowd”, Clear Leisure chief executive Francesco Gardin said in a statement.

“Moreover, the tax relief for Italian investors in innovative startups, as in the case of B4TECH, as of this month has been increased from 30% to 50%, effectively making this kind of investment extremely attractive”, Gardin added.

Shares in Clear Leisure were steady at 0.2p in early trading on Tuesday.
